Stayed 3 nights in May 2013. Central location - easy walk to old town, railway station and cathedral. Clean and recently refurbished. Rooms are quite small, Staff friendly and helpful.

Just spent a couple of days in palma, Bed was memory foam, very comfy, room was spacious and the entire hotel was the cleanest i have ever experienced. not far off placa espanja, which had buses and trains going to the rest of the island. We had to wait a little bit to check in because we arrived very early and check in is at 12 but we were offered a place to put our luggage. Walls seemed to be a little thin as we could hear anyone that were near us, but wasn't much of a problem.

Criticas Hotel Colon, Tripadvisor: “Sencillo pero más que correcto.”

Hotel sencillo en cuanto a instalaciones, pero lo que tiene está nuevo ya que ha sido remodelado hace poco. Bien situado y comunicado, y algo muy importante es que en cuanto a la limpieza un 10. La relación calidad-precio es más que correcta.

Criticas Hotel Colon, Tripadvisor: “Muy buena elección”

Muy buena relación calidad- precio.

Habitación limpia y espaciosa. La cama perfecta. El baño provisto de todo lo necesario; agua caliente al instante.

El personal amable y dispuesto a ayudar ante la menor petición.

Está al lado del intercambiador de transporte y del tren de Soller.

Hotel Colon Palma reviews by Tripadvisor “Ideal hotel to explore the island.”

A well run, clean, reasonably priced hotel with good wifi connection, room safe for laptops etc. air conditioning, TV and a small fridge. Could have done with tea making facility in room (we went prepared with our own travel kettle). Numerous cafes and bars along the road as well as a supermarket, all within 200 meters. The staff were friendly and helpful and all understood my language (English) The hotel is about 10 minute walk from Palma's main rail and bus station. The public transport here is cheap and very efficient a far cry from the UK where they want to rip you off at every move.We were on a hill walking holiday so the central location was essential. The hotel is about 45 minute ride, by bus, from the nearest beach.Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel recently reformed. Clean and well managed. Staff friendly and helpful. Rather noisy and the first night we stayed there the hotel had accepted a booking from a group of young men who held a party in the rooms and roof terrace above our room. This went on into the early hours and made sleeping difficult. The walls of the hotel are thin and we could hear talking and the television in the next room.The room we were allocated was very small but adequate. The absence of a bar or restaurant meant that there were few facilities for meeting up in the hotel although plenty of bars and cafes nearby.

Hotel Colon Palma reviews by Tripadvisor "Lovely little hotel, great location and good value"

Just refurbed a couple of weeks before out stay, with lifts now isntalled and clean, airy rooms, albeit quite small. The downside was no fridge, but they kindly put my beers in the fridge at the back of reception. I couldn't get the internet to work but there was an unsecured connection nearby to piggyback on. Also there are no breakfast facilities, but the immediate area has a range of excellent cafes and bars, which also seem to stay open a bit later than much of the rest of the town.

A great location, 6-10 minutes' walk from the station and bus terminal (and the lovely rickety 1920s wooden train to Soller) in an elegant area. Very friendly helpful staff and I'd definitely stay again.

Hotel Colon Palma Tripadvisor reviews - RENOVADO

El Hotel COLON está renovado desde este agosto, por lo tanto tanto el hall como las habitaciones tienen otro aire. yo había estado hacia muchos años y volví porque me enteré de la renovación.
Todas las habitaciones tienen camas, muebles, armarios, ropa de cama, televisión y aire acondicionado totalmente nuevo. Los baños también están renovados. Hay habitaciones más grandes y otras más pequeñas. Muy bien situado si se quiere conocer Palma y alrededores. La playa también está cerca.
El personal es muy amable.
No ofrecían desayuno. No habia nevera en la habitación.
Es verdad que puede ser un poco caro por las estrellas y servicios que tiene y se debe pagar por avanzado, pero comparado con otros hoteles de Palma centro está bien.
