Just refurbed a couple of weeks before out stay, with lifts now isntalled and clean, airy rooms, albeit quite small. The downside was no fridge, but they kindly put my beers in the fridge at the back of reception. I couldn't get the internet to work but there was an unsecured connection nearby to piggyback on. Also there are no breakfast facilities, but the immediate area has a range of excellent cafes and bars, which also seem to stay open a bit later than much of the rest of the town. A great location, 6-10 minutes' walk from the station and bus terminal (and the lovely rickety 1920s wooden train to Soller) in an elegant area. El Hotel COLON está renovado desde este agosto, por lo tanto tanto el hall como las habitaciones tienen otro aire. yo había estado hacia muchos años y volví porque me enteré de la renovación. Todas las habitaciones tienen camas, muebles, armarios, ropa de cama, televisión y aire acondicionado totalmente nuevo. Los baños también están renovados. Hay habitaciones más grandes y otras más pequeñas. Muy bien situado si se quiere conocer Palma y alrededores . La playa también está cerca. El personal es muy amable. No ofrecían desayuno. No habia nevera en la habitación.
