We had planned to spend 2 nights at Hotel Horizonte, but ended up extending it to 5 largely because of the amazing care we received from the front desk. As well, there was a great bartender and also great restaurant and cleaning staff. The people on the hotel staff make this hotel worth visiting. Awesome view, particularly from the corner rooms. We like walking, and it was an easy walk to Castel de Beliver overlooking the city (15 minutes) and an easy walk down along the marina to the Cathedral (30 minutes). If you walk the other way (away from the old town) there is an old fort (Castell de Sant Carles) about 15 minutes away with a terrifying collection of hand-weapons. If you stick to the shoreline still heading out of town and go just a tiny bit further, there is an awesome rocky beach. I f you walk a bit further still, there's a great sandy beach in Sant Agusti. My husband and I stayed in Miraflores in August 2013, for our honeymoon. For those who look for good value for money hotels, Miraflores is an excellent choice.  The staff is really friendly, the hotel is clean and the location is great, about 300 feet from the beach. If you're on a budget, then this is a great hotel. The room was vey clean. The shower was hot and powerful. The air-con worked perfectly. The room had a fridge and a safe. The reception staff were friendly, patient and helpful. They spoke perfect English. Also another bonus was that all the taxi drivers we used knew the hotel & where it was. L'hotel ha soddisfatto a pieno me e i miei amici: 1- il prezzo è molto vantaggioso! 2- la pulizia è eccellente. Si è accolti da un buon odore di pulito tanto nelle stanze quanto negli ambienti comuni. 3- ottima posizione. La spiaggia neanche due minuti a piedi; fermata del bus di fronte l'hotel...i bus a maiorca sono molto efficienti, frequenti, puliti. In poco tempo si raggiungono palma, el arenal, lo stesso aereoporto.  4- cibo in abbondanza e delizioso! Lo chef è veramente bravissimo oltre ad essere simpatico e disponibile, come tutto lo staff del resto! É deslumbrante, simpático, acima do porto comercial, vista panorâmica sobre a baía e catedral LE SEU, cruzeiros atracados. Perto de uma das saídas da cidade, pode-se ir pro centro de ônibus ou carro táxi... numa área residencial e bem prático para estacionar seu carro alugado, pois no centro é muito didícil encontrar estacionamento. A cama e sala de banho são muito espaçosos, piscina, bar man chuveiro com sobrecarga e impecavelmente limpos diariamente trocavam tudo. No pequeno almoço havia uma variedades de pratos ingleses e continentais. Cada noite havia atrações distintas, salsa, paejja. Há um caixa eletrônico à direita da entrada do hotel para facilitar com o dindim. Ottima posizione per visitare il centro e per i trasporti da e vero l'aeroporto , pochi minuti da piazza di Spagna e con 3 euro in 15 minuti si è in aeroporto (bus N.1).Wifi gratis , pulito . Non danno la colazione come riportano altre recensioni. Ci sono bar vicini in cui farla con pochi euro .  Se noleggiate un auto prenotandola in reception poi vi vengono a prendere e vi portano all'auto noleggio in zona lungomare. I stayed at the Miraflores hotel with a friend for 3 nights at the end of September. We had been to Can Pastilla several times before but decided to try a different hotel.  The Miraflores was a great choice. The hotel is near to the beach, shops and restaurants and the bus stop to get the bus to Palma is just around the corner.  Breakfast was served in the hotel across the road and there was a good choice at the buffet breakfast. Our room was clean, and a good size twin room with the bonus of a small fridge.  The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Me gusto mucho este hotel por como puedes pasarte todo el día en un hotel si no quieres salir a la calle. Te puedes divertir sobretodo con las vistas y esa piscina con chorros de jacuzzi que tiene que es una delicia y el relax que tiene para descansar. El buffet del desayuno que tiene una amplia variedad que puedes elegir lo que quieras y cuanto quieras que esta todo buenísimo lo recomiendo y volveré a ir. Couple de jeunes (19 & 20 ans) Très bon hôtel, nous y avons été fin août 2013 il n'y avait presque personne. Le ménage était fait tous les jours à notre demande : impeccable. Nous avons eu la chambre 312 : très bien, avec un petit balcon très agréable, et la TV (une seule chaîne française) Le patron parlait français et nous a beaucoup aidé pour les bus etc. Les receptionnistes sont adorables et ont toujours le sourire ! Sachez que vous aurez accès aux structures (piscine, ordinateur) de 2 hôtels 3* faisant partie du même groupe que le Can Pastilla. L'hôtel est réellement a 50mètres de la plage et des toutes les boutiques. Les alentours sont vraiment très agréables pour se balader à toute heure ! Les boutiques ne sont pas exessivement cheres. Il a des bus a 50mètres de l'hôtel pour aller vers PALMA, AQUALAND (à faire : 26€ la journée). Hemos pasado una semana en este hotel. Está muy bien situado para ir al centro de la ciudad. A pocos minutos de las paradas de autobuses para ir al aeropuerto, y el resto de líneas para ir a las playas. También cerca la estación de tren. Las habitaciones limpias y el personal de recepción muy amable, atendiendo a todas nuestras necesidades en todo momento.Tiene aire acondicionado, wifi y una pequeña nevera en la habitación. No tiene cafetería pero hay unas cuantas nada más salir del hotel. Very close to sea, clear and beautiful beach. Food is delicious, rooms are clean, stuff is very friendly, wi fi is free. Pool, hair dryer,tv,air conditioner, safe (2 euro per day). I really recommend this hotel! We arrived to HOTEL HORIZONTE on october 2013 for an unforgettable week in mallorca!! We came in a group of 4 friends and we ordered 2 adjoining twin rooms with sea view.  The first thing that we saw when we got in the hotel was the huge smiles of Sofia, Maria and Miki , three of the receptionists, who welcomed us amazingly and immediately treated us and gave us a lot of passes to the best clubs and many others benefits and discounts.  The rooms were nice and clean with an incredible view to the port of Palma. One of the rooms even included a jacuzzi in it!!  Every night there is a different activity in the hotel, such as Salsa night, Mexican night, Ladies night, Paella night (Lorenzo the chef is making the best paella in all mallorca, I checked it) and more.  The food is great, everyone in the staff are so pleasant, helpful and giving from the heart! Hemos pasado una semana en familia, con nuestra bebé de 8 meses y nuestra suegra, nosotros nos alojamos en la habitación 510, que tiene además de un balcón con vistas estupendas a la playa, una terracita privada con dos tumbonas, por si te apetece tomar el sol a tu aire o desayunar, comer o cenar de forma más íntima.  Las camas son grandes y con unos colchones tipo látex, súper cómodos, ni blandos, ni duros, perfectos. El desayuno abundante y variado, además el personal del comedor simpático y siempre atento. No es un hotel 5 estrellas, pero es limpio, cómodo, con un personal amable y servicial y está muy bien ubicado. Mi experiencia en este hotel ha sido excelente. Relación calidad-precio muy buena, estupendo trato del personal. Limpieza y orden perfectos. Habitación triple espaciosa y con mucha luz. Para los amantes de este hotel y para aquellos que desean un lugar económico, céntrico y de gran calidad les informo que está completamente remozado les informo: 1) Tiene un área multinacional donde organizan actividades (tanto puede ser un bar, como una discoteca, como un celebración temática pues tiene luces led, DJ y área de bebidas tanto dentro como en la terraza). 2) Estuve en una fiesta de Halloween y realmente se tiraron la casa por la ventana, esta gente organizó una muy buena fiesta donde hasta los niños tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir. Me dijeron que también iban a celebrar las fiestas navideñas, que van promociones, bodas, en fin un mundo de oportunidades para el que desee pasarla bien. 3) Actualmente ví que estaban remozando el mobiliario de las habitaciones (camas nuevas, todo recién pintado, jacuzzi, etc).
