Hotel Amic Gala reviews by Tripadvisor “Bargain... Great Value for Money”

I was worried as i hadnt read many reviews on this hotel.

Neednt have worried! As soon as we arrived - reception staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a garden view - room 401 - great room - very clean and perfect for our long weekend! would quite happily have stayed a few nights longer. Maids were in every day!

We booked half board as it was cheaper than booking the room - so we ate out a few nights and decided on staying in to eat - i wished we had eated there a bit more as the food was yummy!!! its buffet style and you can eat as much as you like... we didnt eat at breakfast but the evening meal was great value for money.

You can use the facilities of the hotel across the road too which is handy! The pool in gala is small - but as it is not busy it seems like a nice private pool area.

There are many nationalities in the whole resort - we found we were a minority of the english there and found it hard to find english bars etc.. although it didnt really bother us too much.

I was expecting places to be as cheap as our usual holiday in tenerife - although i have to say its a lot more expensive there.

I dont think i would go back to that particular area - however - the holiday we picked was great from start to finish and the hotel was great - some people expect to much for so little which means that the hotel would get little rating - it is a shame as with most hotels this cheap - you get what you pay for.

Overall Rating : Good, Clean, Helpful Great location to the Beach.

We had planned to spend 2 nights at Hotel Horizonte, but ended up extending it to 5 largely because of the amazing care we received from the front desk. As well, there was a great bartender and also great restaurant and cleaning staff. The people on the hotel staff make this hotel worth visiting. Awesome view, particularly from the corner rooms. We like walking, and it was an easy walk to Castel de Beliver overlooking the city (15 minutes) and an easy walk down along the marina to the Cathedral (30 minutes). If you walk the other way (away from the old town) there is an old fort (Castell de Sant Carles) about 15 minutes away with a terrifying collection of hand-weapons. If you stick to the shoreline still heading out of town and go just a tiny bit further, there is an awesome rocky beach. I f you walk a bit further still, there's a great sandy beach in Sant Agusti. L'hotel ha soddisfatto a pieno me e i miei amici: 1- il prezzo è molto vantaggioso! 2- la pulizia è eccellente. Si è accolti da un buon odore di pulito tanto nelle stanze quanto negli ambienti comuni. 3- ottima posizione. La spiaggia neanche due minuti a piedi; fermata del bus di fronte l'hotel...i bus a maiorca sono molto efficienti, frequenti, puliti. In poco tempo si raggiungono palma, el arenal, lo stesso aereoporto.  4- cibo in abbondanza e delizioso! Lo chef è veramente bravissimo oltre ad essere simpatico e disponibile, come tutto lo staff del resto!
